Well-made objects have always stopped me in my tracks. A piece with character, a material worked with care, the detail that betrays hours of craft.

I'm 38, I've lived in Barcelona for ten years and I come from a very different world: big tech companies and international teams. What I loved most was the moment someone learned something new and realised they could do more than they thought.

One day, that urge to teach led me to a jewelry workshop. And I never left.

What moves me most is when someone leaves with something made with their own hands, wears it the next day and people ask where it's from. That's exactly what Ópalo Studio is for.

I teach in Spanish, English and French — and soon in Catalan too.
